In search of a weekend caretaker (Saturday and Sunday) from 10AM – 6pm. Care taking for 65 year old mother with dementia. She is quiet and sweet, but likes her own space (on second floor of home). She can become agitated with others around her so entire first floor with kitchen and living room available for any down time during the day.

Services needed:

– Cleaning of her room (sheets, occasional incontinence, laundry)
– Preparing/heating food (always provided)
– Dishes and laundry
– Checking on her periodically (she enjoys singing and dancing)

*Her condition has halted any English speaking or comprehension (most communication is non verbal) but she is still mobile and active
*This job allows for a lot of down time for TV, work, study…
*Must have own vehicle
*Prior experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s preferred 🙂
*Female caretaker preferred
**Occasional overnight caretaking desired (additional pay)

compensation: $15/hr with additional $50 for cleaning each weekend. ($580 every 2 weeks)
