Tier 3 technical support (part-time)

This is a 1099 position providing support for virtualized Windows server network consisting of RDP, IIS web, domain controllers and SQL database server. The virtual network resides on a VMWare clustered environment.

The hours of support is for 4:00 pm EST to approximately 9-10:00 EST Monday through Friday.

Be available for at least 2 days during the mentioned evening hours. You will have the option of picking which days you would like to cover on a regular basis. For example if you can cover every Monday and Thursday, we can work with that as long as we can rely on you for those days.

There may be periodic weekend work for scheduled changes or to troubleshoot ongoing problems.

Expected to maintain presence on MS Teams to watch for escalated trouble tickets. Strong skills in

– Windows networking
– Domain trust relationships
– IIS web
– RDP connections
– Previous helpdesk experience working with customers via remote desired
– Working knowledge of VMWare, AWS or Azure is helpful
