Stagers Needed

Job Description: Being responsible for staging jobs which may include site visits, job prep in our DC storage facility, storage organization, inventory management, getting furniture items in place, assembling the occasional furniture, hanging art, making beds, laying out rugs and removing furniture from jobs. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of placing objects and art in an attractive, appealing way and have some experience. In some cases you may act as a second set of hands for a bigger job.

Seeking: Someone who enjoys taking charge of a project, is very organized, excels at following directions, is extremely reliable, is physically capable (we use professional movers for staging jobs but there still ends up being plenty of physical labor) and has an innate sense for decorating as well as a vehicle for travel to jobs around DC and nearby suburbs.

Hours: Hours and days vary greatly by week but on average 5-25 hours a week depending on season; daytimes, Monday through Friday. There is some flexibility when arranging weekly schedule.

Compensation: Depending on your responsibility in each job, you will be paid a flat rate per job (please inquire and I’ll share these details with you but averages to about $30/hr depending on pace), or if you are acting as an assistant to someone else, a starting wage of $20/hr.
