Reliable Caregiver Needed – Will train

Caregiver needed for 26yo in wheelchair. Job is pretty simple. Just need somebody to help him into his wheelchair, make coffee, basic grooming, help him with meds, prepare meals, light grocery shopping, basic cleaning, laundry and stretch his muscles every day. Will train you on how to do the muscle stretches.

You need to have a valid driver’s license to take him to medical appointments. That doesn’t happen often and he does have a wheelchair accessible van for transport.

Job is six days a week:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:30am – 2:30pm. This cannot be changed.
Pay is about $130/Day. This cannot be changed.

If you are unable to work on Sunday but can do the rest of the week, let me know and you can still be considered for the job.

What is needed most of all is somebody RELIABLE. If the aide doesn’t show up, he will be stuck in bed. This is a long term position.

You must also be a non-smoker, with authorization to work in the U.S. and dog friendly since there is a very friendly service dog at the house.

The household is fully vaccinated and you must be too.

There is A LOT of down time with this job. If you are a student or writer or anybody else that could use a job that allows you to do your personal work while getting paid, this could be perfect.
