Procurement analyst

Federal Acquisition Policy Support (mid-level)
Provide Federal Acquisition Policy and Compliance Program Support to DEA’s Acquisition community through:

• Experience in supporting Federal Contracting
• Ability to navigate the FAR
• Ability to interpret the FAR
• Ability to communicate in writing
• Ability to develop user guides, training content, and communications
• Ability to present training and answer participant questions on Acquisition Program Topics
• Ability to analyze incoming issues and propose solutions

Tasks will include:
• Review of acquisition policy documents
• Responding to acquisition policy questions via email/phone
• Review of small business procurement strategies/market research
• Collaboratively working with contracting staff on resolution of issues
• Developing communications to the acquisition workforce and Program Offices
• Tracking recurring projects and activities
• Develop/present training
• Participating in meetings
• Identify training gaps
• Develop/present training
• Receive/Review/Respond to OIG/External audits
• Conduct A123/Internal/Field Audits
• Process ratifications
• Respond to data calls
• Respond to acquisition compliance mailbox
• Track recurring projects and activities
• Track compliance metrics for improvement
Knowledge:
Experience in IT Acquisitions
Experience using NASA SEWP – FAR part 16
Experience using NITAAC – FAR part 16
Experience using OASIS – FAR part 16
Experience using GSA Schedules – FAR part 8
Experience with Formal Contracting/Contract by Negotiation – FAR part 15

Mid-Level Procurement Analyst – Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a procurement, contracting or acquisition environment. Ability to analyze business processes and recommend solutions or improvements. Excellent verbal, written, and customer skills are required. FAC-C/DAWIA Level II preferred. Bachelors degree. Public Trust.

compensation: $45/hr as W2 or $61 as 1099
