Preschool Lead Teacher

Qualifications
• Embrace a sense of wonder and curiosity in the classroom
• Teachable spirit
• Collaborative approach
• Two years teaching experience with previous lesson planning experience; ECE degree or CDA preferred
• CPR/1ST AIDE certification preferred
• Physical ability to properly supervise young children
• Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
• Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable, flexible, adaptable, and enjoys working in teams
• Meets background check eligibility.

Responsibilities
• Provide an environment that fosters the individual social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth of all students
• Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom environment promoting safety and well being
• Plan, prepare and implement developmentally appropriate activities in accordance with school standards to meet the changing needs of the developing child
• Provide ongoing evaluations in accordance with the school’s policy
• Provide continuous feedback to parents
• Support community events targeted to promote Epiphany Preschool
• Attend all in-house staff training opportunities and meetings
• Acquire required hours of professional development
• Be flexible to embrace other priorities as circumstances require
