F.H. Furr is running a fully paid Plumbing Drain Technician program at the Furr Academy, which is located at our headquarters in Manassas, VA.
This program is designed to create an entry-level Plumbing Drain Technician after the completion of training.
While in training – a combination of classroom training as well as on-the-job (ride-along) training, apprentices will learn the basics of plumbing and drain clearing. The first full year of work after training you should see an achievable compensation range from $50,000 to $70,000.

Qualifications:
– Must be mechanically inclined
– Must be able to lift between 50 and 100 pounds of drain equipment
– Motivated
– Ability to work independently, maintain a “can do” attitude and be a team player
– Commitment to truly serving customers needs with integrity
– Effectively communicate issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers
– Attention to detail, demonstrate speed, accuracy in the completion of tasks
– Must have a good driving record
– Must be able to pass a background check
