Kitchen and bath designer

H&C Construction, one of the DMV area’s major Home Remodeling and renovation companies, is looking for an experienced kitchen/bathroom and basement designer. Someone who is on top of his or her game with sufficient skill set to conduct pre-construction and design kitchen/bathroom and basement for clients’ satisfaction and is willing to join an amazing team.

Responsibilities:
-Meet with clients to listen to their design ideas and fixtures selections during pre-construction at the job site or showroom
-Management of multiple projects and clients during any one time period:
-Create & maintain fixtures selections and inform the team of deadlines & changes
-Review and approve shop drawings and proposals from vendors
-Complete materials takeoffs and schedule delivery of fixtures selections to the job site or warehouse
-Experience with fixtures selections for kitchen, bath and basement

Qualifications:

-Familiarity with design software programs, preferably 2020 Design Software
-Strong communication and presentation skills
-Ability to work well in teams
-Strong sales skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Strong work ethic and a “do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
-Previous experience in design, house renovation, remodeling, kitchen, and bath industry is a plus
