Full Time – Land Survey Party Chief

Professional Land Surveying firm in Northern Virginia, is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our growing team.

Ideal candidates will have experience using precision surveying equipment such as total stations/data collectors, GPS and robotic equipment. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of surveying procedures, methods, along with good general math skills and knowledge of construction practices. Must be able to work alone with the possibility of in-state travel from time to time will be required. Opportunity for growth.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. 40-hour week plus overtime.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with management to coordinate schedule/ jobs accordingly
Gather all necessary information needed to properly conduct the survey in the most time efficient manner
Make calculations and maintain records essential to survey
Ensure that assigned survey vehicle is properly maintained
Maintain and inventory all assigned equipment
Ensure equipment is secured in locked vehicle at all times when away from the vehicle
